SEPTEMBER 28, 2026

Our team power ranking — record, run differential and recent form in one order.

The top two haven't moved, but the bottom half of our top ten is where the season's last week actually happened. Cleveland and Chicago both went 4-2 and climbed hard. Milwaukee, meanwhile, keeps doing what it's done all year.

The Brewers stay first at 103-59, going 5-1 behind Jackson Chourio's 1.197 week and a spotless start from Jacob Misiorowski. The real leap belongs to the Guardians, up four spots to fourth on a plus-9 week with two homers from Brayan Rocchio, and the White Sox, up five to seventh after a plus-14 week powered by Chase Meidroth's 1.643 tear and three homers from Brenton Doyle. The Rays and Braves paid for quiet weeks, each sliding three, while the Padres nudged into third on the strength of a 4-2 stretch.
