Boston Crashes the Party at Number Three

JULY 13, 2026

Our team power ranking — record, run differential and recent form in one order.

The top two didn't budge, but a team ten games under .500 just muscled its way into third. Boston won all six games it played this week, and that kind of run is hard to argue with, even from a losing record.

Power Rankings

Power ranking — record, run differential and recent form, blended into one order. Tap a team for its week.

The Dodgers hold at number one despite a 2-4 week and a minus-14 run differential, carried by Shohei Ohtani's four homers, while the Brewers sit second after treading water at 4-4. The story is Boston, third now after a perfect 6-0 run and a plus-22 week behind Andruw Monasterio's two homers, and the Yankees right behind at fourth, still riding Ben Rice, who went 11-for-26 with five homers and twelve RBI. Tampa Bay took the hardest tumble, sliding five spots to eighth.
