Misiorowski's 0.80 WHIP Leads the Arms

SEPTEMBER 22, 2026

The best staffs and arms in the game right now, by team ERA and our form score.

It's a pitching day, and the top of the board belongs to the Brewers and Yankees. Milwaukee has the game's best starter, New York has the best rotation, and Boston quietly runs the best bullpen. Here's who's setting hitters down.

Best rotation

Starting rotation ERA — starters only. Lower is better.

The Yankees rotation leads our starter-ERA ranking at 3.27, and the whole top five is bunched tight: the Dodgers (3.46) and Rays (3.48) sit right behind, with the Tigers and Brewers rounding it out. Detroit at fourth is the mild surprise on a 74-83 team.

Best bullpens

Bullpen ERA — relievers only. Lower is better.

Boston tops the reliever-ERA ranking at 3.09, a nose ahead of the Yankees at 3.14, giving New York a claim on both ends of the staff. Atlanta, Milwaukee and San Diego fill out the top five, all under 3.50.

Green on the mound

Top arms by form — our 0–100 pitching score from ERA & WHIP. A shimmer means a historic pace (sub-2.00 ERA, sub-1.00 WHIP).
